Towards Enlightenment Through Education
When Eleonora came to the UK at the age of 13, she did not speak much English. After enrolling at a local school in which she was the only international pupil, she taught herself the language by reading and comparing Sherlock Holmes novels, which she already knew by heart. She went on to pass all her public exams and became the second Ukrainian to read for an undergraduate degree at Oxford, where she co-founded the Oxford University Ukrainian Society.
Today, Eleonora draws on those early lessons of adapting to a new country to guide other international students. Crucially, she knows what works - and what doesn’t - in the UK education system, and helps families navigate it with confidence and clarity.

In 2006, Eleonora joined one of the UK’s first educational consultancies - a pioneering start-up of just three people - which grew into a global organisation with offices and operations across the UK, UAE, Russia, Monaco and Azerbaijan. Over the following years, she played a central role in its expansion, helping to establish international tutoring centres, an independent college in Oxford, a guardianship agency, and a broad range of bespoke education services for private clients.
As head of the educational consultancy, she oversaw a team of specialist advisers and worked with families across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia on complex school and university applications. She also delivered application workshops and training at international schools and global companies, including Google. This international experience gave her a deep understanding of cross-border education planning, and a clear sense of what truly matters when preparing students for success in the UK’s most competitive institutions.
